Erica Schembri
She has acted before, in school concerts and at catechism.
She said that she likes her part a lot, however she didn’t really have any specific role in mind when she auditioned.
She really likes her role, because she loves the idea of playing the role of a supernatural goddess and having control over nature ( Who wouldn’t love being a supernatural goddess?^^)
Erica told us that she really enjoys rehearsing and having a good laugh with her friends, Miss Charmaine, and Miss Debbie

Anike Dietzsch - Shakespeare
Anike plays the part of Shakespeare. Anike has acted in school and catechism plays since she was little but she has never had any acting lessons. She says that she really likes her part because she doesn't feel nervous about it since she doesn't need to learn any lines by heart. She also likes it because she is on stage a lot.
She originally wanted to be Miranda, but she was mainly aiming at the parts of Miranda, Prospero or Ariel. However, she likes her character a lot, because Shakespeare is the genius behind the whole thing and she says that it’s great to think that people want her to play the genius. She joked saying it’s appropriate since she’s a genius in real life.
She says her only complaint is that the character is only monologue, so she doesn't get to work with anyone in any scenes, but she doesn't mind it all that much.

She first auditioned for prospero and wanted the part of prosepero as well. She likes the part of Gonzalo but does not think that they are alike. She likes the rehearsals at school and thinks that they are very fun and enjoyable. She does not have stage fright and is looking forward to the show.
Karin Grech - Alonso
Karin Grech

Karin has never experienced stage fright.
Kylie Schembri - Sebastian
Kyle’s character is Sebastian.

She had originally auditioned for the part of Prospero, but she is very happy with her character and feels confident with it.
Kylie describes her character as both aggressive and cowardly (as he gets persuaded easily). Sebastian doesn’t have a strong character, and one major example of this is when he cannot say no to killing his brother. Although Sebastian is cowardly and aggressive, she still enjoys playing this part
Kylie says that acting is her favourite hobby, so she is always looking forward to rehearsals. She enjoys learning new things and rehearsing with all the other actors. She finds this play as a great opportunity to make new friends and learn more about acting. She says that she honestly does enjoy every single moment of it, and is really looking forward to when everyone performs the play in front of the audience.

She enjoys rehearsing and is looking forward to getting her costumes and in taking part in the show.

She really likes her part because it can be very funny at times. When she auditioned, she didn’t really have any particular character in mind, so Ms Charmaine told her to audition with Prospero.
Although she does like her character, she doesn’t like the fact that it’s a monster, but she really likes that Caliban is in a lot of funny scenes.
Nicole loves rehearsing for the Tempest. She says that everyone’s really nice and fun!

Rebecca Cassar-Prospero.
Rebecca plays the part of Prospero in The Tempest.
Rebecca has attended drama lessons with Marco Calleja, who has his own group of students, and she has been acting for three years now. She has acted in many plays before, both in and out of school.
She wasn’t exactly sure who to audition for, so she was just given some lines from Prospero’s script, and she ended up getting that part.
She really likes her character, although she would have rather acted as a woman, but she loves a little challenge.
She really likes her character, although she would have rather acted as a woman, but she loves a little challenge.
She likes her character because he has a lot of power and has a lot of control over people, and also because Prospero is different from any character she’s played before.
She says that she loves rehearsing after school, that it’s a fun time that she can spend with friends and teachers. She also enjoys it because everyone is very helpful and nice. She also says that even though it’s fun, when it’s their time to work, they do work, and that’s what makes it so great!
She wanted to give a special thanks to Miss Charmaine, Miss Debbie and Miss Philipa.
